Modeus is thrilled to announce a partnership with Imprivata, a global Healthcare IT security company.
The HS8 integration with Imprivata Confirm ID, an identification workflow, will drive efficiencies by allowing users to confirm register entries within HS8 via card tap or fingerprint authentication instead of manually typing in usernames and passwords.
This partnership will also support secure access to HS8 by providing safeguards to help improve patient safety. This will be achieved by incorporating re-authentication for signing and witnessing across a range of hospital medication transactions. These include stock checks, stock transfers, receipt of stock as well as dispensing from pharmacy, ward and theatre areas.
Modeus exhibited at the Medicines Management conference on the Gold Coast last weekend.
This year, we extended our offering beyond the HS8 software by demonstrating integrations with various hardware such as Automated Dispensing Cabinets, Med Carts and Remote Locks. We also featured an integration with a very popular clinical authentication solution.
We had a significant interest in both the flexible software and hardware options, with one attendee calling the solution a “game changer”. It was great to see delegates visiting the booth after watching Peter Blewitt’s presentation on how a hospital can benefit from an electronic controlled drug register.
Modeus is pleased to announce a partnership with Debetrek, one of Australia’s top healthcare equipment specialists.
The HS8 + Debetrek solution will offer a feature-rich, cost-effective, low-risk option to hospitals wishing to automate their medication management and transition their controlled drug management from paper to digital.
The solution is designed to be customisable for each hospital’s unique needs, offering a high degree of adaptability for different locations.
The flexibility offered through the solution allows hospitals to gradually improve their model of care in line with budgets and other priorities, while maintaining familiarity with a single software solution.
In another significant milestone for HS8, we are thrilled to announce that our hospital electronic controlled drug register platform is now live in the pharmacy at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre!
Modeus would like to give special thanks to Senthil Lingaratnam, Peter MacCallum Director of Pharmacy, as well as Allan Shum, Senior Pharmacist and the wider Peter Mac team for their efforts in assisting Modeus with the implementation.
Modeus looks forward to making more exciting announcements regarding HS8 in the near future.
Modeus attended the SHPA 2018 Medicines Management Conference in Brisbane to promote HS8, our new hospital controlled drug register platform.
This year has seen incredible momentum with many hospitals throughout Australia inquiring about HS8 and the SHPA conference was a great reflection of this interest. It provided an opportunity to meet with many hospitals face to face, update them on the latest developments and product enhancements, as well as enabled us to answer many of the questions asked.
Modeus are already looking forward to exhibiting at SHPA 2019 on the Gold Coast!
Methsof attended HIC 2018, Australia’s premier digital health conference between July 29th and the 1st of August.
The conference was a great opportunity to showcase HS8, our hospital controlled drug register platform to many hospitals around Australia and we were delighted with the level of interest.
We also met with several prospective industry partners and discussed potential further integrations and other opportunities.
A special thanks to Peter Blewitt (Senior Pharmacist – Inventory – Pharmacy Informatics – Dispensary) from Peninsula Health who helped to demonstrate HS8 as well as discuss the benefits of the platform.
We look forward to exhibiting at HIC 2019 in Melbourne!
